In this video podcast, we are joined by Scott Rizzo, President and Co-owner of River City Aquaponics. Aquaponics is a technology that blends aquaculture (growing fish) and hydroponics (growing plants in water) to grow chemical-free produce and fish without soil. It’s a way to produce food in a clean and environmentally friendly way.

    Fun facts:

    • Aquaponics uses ⅙ of the water required by traditional farming.

    • It is less land intensive than traditional farming.

    • Aquaponics requires no chemicals.

    • It is sustainable.

Tune in to take an in-depth look at the value and benefits of aquaponics. You’ll also get a chance to see how River City Aquaponics operates their system and understand how aquaponics will benefit the residents of Thrive Co-living Communities.

In this episode, we discuss the future of learning, and how co-living and co-learning provide incredible, synergistic learning opportunities within communities. We are joined by Adam Rubin, Founder and Partner at 2Revolutions.

Adam has spent over two decades catalyzing change through the design and launch of social enterprises across the education and community development sectors. At 2Rev, he is able to feed his love of both systems change and practice innovation. Please join us as we dive into Adam’s research and experience, and learn how we can create exciting opportunities at Thrive for residents of all ages to learn from each other.
